Not blogging that's for sure!!!
It's something I hardly remember to do now, I have a couple of weeks 'free' for Spring break so I thought I should try to catch up on my blogging.
I can hardly believe I have been a student for almost 2 years, almost half way through! With my 1 year access course my total degree will have taken four years of dedication, lets hope it's worth it! I will be pleased to finish and equally chuffed to have completed a vocational qualification but I never could have have accounted for the hard work and lifestyle change necessary...
Hence the tentative use of the word 'free' I have essay's and reading to complete and a life to catch up with which ultimately always comes second to my degree! I am not complaining - it's just 'different'. All that luxurious free time I used to have "pre-degree" was a novelty, sadly one I cannot afford anymore...
So where have a been??? Quite literally everywhere! February saw the end of my community placement which was bittersweet, and also the completion of my first semester, a technicality dependent upon passing all my essay's, which they let you stew in your juices for 6 weeks - nice. So I took a trip (and why not) to New York! Which was fabulous, I highly recommend it to anyone. I think I walked the entire length of Manhatten but I got to see everything :) and I went on the "sex and the city tour" which being a huge fan of the show was a must!
I came back to England and welcomed two 'additions' to the fold. Now those who know me well, know I am absolutely bunny mad - yeah it's a little weird but I think we all have to have our quirks! So when my good friend from Uni moved in to her new appartment, which had no garden who did she turn to to house her bunnies!!! So I am now the proud bunny mummy to 5 - yes 5 rabbits, that is 20 bunny feet people!!!! Rufus and Jessie are 'garden' bunnies so they haven't met the 3 house bunnies. It's funny how it seems like we have always had them and 5 really isn't much more work when you already have 3! Stitch was quite keen to meet them - they were not as fussed on him initially!
I do feel very lucky to have lots of furry friends, not sure they love me quite as much though!
I have also been on another 'journey' the kind where I shrink my huge butt, and it has been going really well. So far I have lost 9lbs since the beginning of March which I am v v pleased with. As a serial dieter (which all women seem to be) I have say I think this is 'it' and you really will be seeing much much less of me.
So far I am pleased to report that 3/4 essay results have been passes and I and hopeful for the last result.. And that really is my dull life in one entry - hope you are still awake! TTFN
